Welcome to Business Way ZAMBIA AND ZIMBABWE

VICTORIA FALLS (BORDER OF ZAMBIA — FORMER NORTHERN RODESIA OR ZIMBABWE — FORMER SOUTH RODESIA). We recommend the Zambian side of the Falls, as generally conditions of accommodation here are higher, however if you wish to visit Zimbabwe, it can be also easily arranged. The city of Livingstone is located in a little more than one and a half hours flight from Johannesburg and is located near the border crossing of 4 African states: Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

The resort is located on the banks of Zambezi River, right above the Victoria Falls. The waterfall was discovered in 1855 by the famous British traveler and missionary, Dr. David Livingstone and named after the English Queen Victoria — when Livingstone saw clouds of spray over the mighty Falls and dozens of rainbows, spectacle had indeed overwhelmed him and he called it «Flight of Angels.» The waterfall is considered to be one of the most spectacular in the world (average height of the waterfall is 108 m. and width is 1800 m.) — the Zambezi River casts millions of cubic meters of water a day into the Batoka Gorge and the Falls can already be seen at a distance of about 50 km. During the Full Moon on the Falls, one can observe such a unique phenomenon as “Moon Rainbow”. Locals figuratively call the waterfall “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (Smoke-That-Thunders).
